Complaints And enquiries statistics

Malta Independent Saturday, 19 May 2007, 00:00 Last update: about 20 years ago

Consumers raised complaints or queries with the Malta Communications Authority regarding approximately 40 main areas in relation to fixed and mobile telephony, the internet, TV and postal services during the January-March quarter this year.

Approximately 85 per cent of these were raised by residential consumers. The remaining 15 per cent were raised by small and medium sized enterprises.

The figures are given in the MCA’s report on the complaints and enquiries it had received during the first quarter of the year.

The report is comprised of aggregated information on consumer complaints and requests for information and should serve to update industry players on the trends in this regard and provide them with an indication of persistent service failures that may need to be addressed.
