The concert, a benefit for Community Chest Fund of Malta (under the patronage of President Fenech-Adami) represents the third time the Tucker Music Foundation has held events abroad; the previous two events were in Florence and London.
“Opera Across the Atlantic” is the brainchild of Michael Sonnenreich, a Tucker Foundation board member and former president of the Washington National Opera, and his friend John Lowell, Malta’s former ambassador to the United States.
The concert will be simulcast live to George Washington University’s Lisner Auditorium in Washington, D.C.
