Yvonne Eastman has been presented with this year’s Mons Azzopardi Award in recognition of her voluntary work over the years at the Dar tal-Providenza.

The presentation was made yesterday in Siggiewi by Mgr Lawrence Gatt, Director of the Home.

Mrs Eastman, 16th recipient of the award, was presented with a Certificate of Merit and a Commemorative Plaque.

The Award was presented to her in the name of all the group of volunteers with whom she works hand in hand throughout the year.
