The narrow, picturesque streets of Zurrieq were transformed into a typical wedding scene from the 16th to 18th century yesterday, as visitors to the village enjoyed a re-enactment of a traditional Maltese wedding of the period. The event was organised by the cultural committee of the St Catherine’s Musical Society of Zurrieq.
