A man found lying unconscious on the rocks by the sea at St Julian’s appeared to have been hit on the head, the police said yesterday.

The police said they were informed at about 10.30am that a person was lying on the rocks near the sea in Borg Olivier Street. On investigating, they found a man lying unconscious.

The man, a Briton who lives in Malta, was conveyed by ambulance to St Luke’s Hospital where he was found to be in critical condition.

Duty Magistrate Dr A. Demicoli was informed about the case.
