The Society for Scale Modellers is holding its annual exhibition until Sunday, at The Air Battle for Malta Hangar at The Aviation Museum in Ta’ Qali. The show is open daily from 9am to 6pm.
The exhibition includes various scale models of aircraft, ships, cars, motorcycles, armoured fighting vehicles, figurines and scale dioramas portraying different historical subjects from various eras.
Two life-size aircraft, the Supermarine Spitfire and the Hawker Hurricane, which were the main Allied protagonists in the air battle for Malta in World War II, as well as a Bofors Anti-Aircraft gun, will be among the exhibits on display. Members of the society will give talks about scale modelling and other topics related to this hobby.
Timings of these sessions are available on the society’s website www.ipmsmalta.com
