Two men were seriously injured in two separate traffic accidents yesterday evening, the police reported. Neither of them is in danger of dying.

The first accident happened at about 8pm in Mtarfa Road, Mtarfa, when a 21-year-old man, of foreign nationality but a resident of Malta, lost control of his motorbike and crashed into a rubble wall.

The other accident occurred at about 10pm in M.A. Vassalli Street, Msida, where a 40-year-old man from Swieqi lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a barrier at the university roundabout.

Both men was kept in hospital for treatment.
