A four-day Advanced People Management residential training programme organised by HSBC Group has been held in Malta for the first time. Eighteen delegates participated, six from the United Kingdom and twelve local. The programme was targeted at HSBC’s global middle management.
The training was given by Fiona Brimage, course director at HSBC’s Management Training College based in Hertfordshire, England, and Joe Debono, management skills training
manager, HSBC Malta.
The programme is the second level of a three-tiered suite of management training programmes. This specialised training enables delegates to better understand the dynamics of operating effectively at middle-management levels.
HSBC Malta chief executive officer Shaun Wallis said: “HSBC’s learning and development programmes target
management and staff at all levels and aim to help personal development, the sharing of best practice and a Group
strategy to “Think Joined Up”.
