Smash Television has announced that it has obtained the exclusive rights to broadcast the Norway-Malta Euro 2008 match live on 2 June at 8pm.

This follows Smash Television’s commitment to offer viewers more quality programming across a wide spectrum of viewing preferences.

Smash Television was certified by the Malta Communications Authority and the Broadcasting Authority as a station that reaches all Maltese households Free to Air via antenna last year just before the World Cup.

Smash TV has also obtained rights to broadcast the Brazil-Turkey match live on the 5 June at 8pm. This is part of the Brazil World Tour, which is taking the team across the world for a tour of friendly matches.

A spokesperson for Smash Television said “The station is now committed to grow in excellence and in programming choice. Our quality has grown in both programming and technical ways. We are also committed in giving a Free To Air service for which the viewers are not paying any money. This is done on Channel 44 on the UHF Band and other channels across Malta and Gozo through various repeaters”
