John Guillaumier is disappointed with Dun Gorg, saying that he never appealed to him (TMIS, 20 May). Frankly, his letter did not appeal to me and, I'm sure, to many others. His negative comments about a man who worked very hard to educate the Maltese people in spiritual matters are almost sickening.

The MUSEUM members have many restrictions but these have been and are accepted by the members so his comments are rather materialistic and intrusive.

John Guillaumier obviously never met Dun Gorg and I suspect he never even heard him preaching so his comments are baseless. I met Dun Gorg and the man I know, he definitely doesn't.

Going into details about the sacrifices the MUSEUM members go through and for what will be a waste of time.

One feature he omitted to include when labelling the members is that they are people we can trust for their integrity and dedication and as of 3 June, they, and most of Malta and Gozo will be blessed with Dun Gorg's canonization.

John Guillaumier might want to whisper a prayer to San Gorg Preca to pray for him so he can see the light.
