Maltacom has entered into a three-year corporate sponsorship agreement with the Local Councils Association in support of a number of projects undertaken by the association and the local councils.
The association acts as the catalyst for initiatives coordinated by local councillors with the aim of enhancing the quality of life for residents in their localities.
“We are delighted to have the unique opportunity to team up with the Local Councils Association and lend a hand in assisting local councils to coordinate experience and exchange initiatives for the benefit of their residents. The sponsorship further underpins Maltacom’s ongoing strategies aimed at enhancing the quality of life of the communities in which the Group operates,” said Maltacom Group of Companies chief executive officer David Kay.
Mr Kay referred to Maltacom’s contributions leading to reliable and efficient communications services covering all areas of Malta and Gozo.
“We are committed to offering our clients the best and most reliable service built on cutting-edge technology and supported by the highest levels of customer care in all areas of our business, be it fixed lines, broadband internet, mobile telephony or digital television,” he said.
Association president Michael Cohen expressed gratitude for Maltacom’s ongoing support and appreciation of the strong collaboration that exists between the two entities, especially in the light of a shared vision of optimum living standards in the local community.
Franco Aloisio, head of communications and public affairs for the Maltacom Group and Noel Cini, acting executive secretary of the Local Councils Association, attended the presentation at Maltacom’s head office in Marsa.
