I was among the thousands of people who went to Gozo for the weekend of Notte Gozitana.

First of all, the event was well-organised and there was so much to do and to attend. The number of activities were very varied and suitable for families. Even children had their fair share of activities they could attend.

I do hope that the authorities concerned will continue to provide the Maltese people with such opportunities. As Maltese people, locked on a small island, we have limited options for our entertainment, and therefore activities such as Notte Bianca are a breath of fresh air.

May I also take this opportunity to thank all the organisers of musical concerts. There was a time when we did not have any big singers coming over to Malta; then we started getting one every year. Over the past few years, however, we have had several top singers giving performances here.
