The General Workers’ Union has concluded a three-year agreement with Security Service Malta Ltd, a security company which operates cash in transit services and guard duty.
The union said the sector needed the authorities’ attention because many of the employees were in a difficult situation and anomalies needed to be eliminated.
The agreement will be in effect until the end of 2010.
