The Palais des Nations in Geneva is hosting a solo art exhibition by artist Joseph Farrugia to coincide with the annual conference of the International Labour Organisation.

The exhibition is being held under the patronage of the Director General of the United Nations Office in Geneva, Sergei Ordzhonikidze, and the ambassador, permanent representative of Malta to the United Nations in Geneva, Mr. Saviour F. Borg.

The exhibition, entitled NOMADS, is based on a central theme of a folded paper plane as the portrayal of life in a state of transformation, and the universality of spirit.

Joseph Farrugia, who, as director general of the Malta Employers’ Association is also participating in the ILO conference as an employers’ delegate, stated that: ‘It is indeed an honour for me to be exhibiting these works at the Palais, especially since many of the works exhibited have been partially inspired by my participation in the ILO conference during the past five years’.
