The Malta Transport Authority said that due to tree pruning and embellishment works, the following temporary road closures will be implemented:

Saturday 9 June, 5am to 7.30am: The outer lane of the slip road joining Triq Nazzjonali and Triq l-Indipendenza (in the direction towards Msida) will be closed to vehicular traffic. The inner lane will remain open to vehicular traffic.

Between 7.30am to noon: The slip road joining Triq l-Indipendenza and Triq Nazzjonali (in the direction towards Marsa) will be closed to vehicular traffic. Vehicular traffic will be diverted to the slip road joining Triq l-Indipendenza and Triq Nazzjonali in the direction towards Floriana.

Saturday 16 June, 5am to 10am: The inner lane of the slip road linking Triq Nazzjonali and Triq l-Indipendenza (in the direction towards Msida) will be closed to vehicular traffic. The outer land will remain open to vehicular traffic.

Triq l-Imdina, Attard is being closed to vehicular traffic on Saturday 9 June between 5am andnoon. To this end, vehicular traffic from Triq l-Imdina towards Valletta will be diverted to Triq il-Ferrovija to Triq il-Mosta, Triq Hal Warda and Triq in-Nutar Zarb.

Vehicular traffic through Triq l-Imdina in the direction towards Rabat from junction with Triq ix-Xghir (in the vicinity of Wied Incita) will be diverted to the opposing carriageway.
