128 songs have been submitted for the 16th edition of the Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza. The organising committee will now be meeting in the coming days to discuss the eliminatory dates. This will be held in early June.

Twenty finalists will be chosen by the jury and all 20 songs will be promoted during the summer through a new weekly TV prime time programme starting in July on Net TV.

The final night of the festival will be held during the Independence festivities on Monday 17 September.
