Razzett L-Antik in Qormi recently launched its medieval Gregorian night for this summer which will be held every Saturday night. Members of the press and TV personalities were invited to experience the atmosphere as inspired by the historical events of the turn of the 11th century, when Count Roger the Norman arrived to take over the Maltese islands from the Arab Saracen rule. Influenced by the great Gothic Cathedral era and monastic paintings of the past, the set is of large banquet tables with white tabletops, terracotta chalices, medieval and Gregorian music, an authentic four-course meal served with freshly-baked bread, a knight present to greet the guests, with monks and maidens in costume serving the wine and food. Three dance shows entertained the guests and coloured lighting created the right atmosphere for a great fun night out.

Set up in the courtyard at the spacious Razzett l-Antik, guests are asked to be seated by 8.30pm. The medieval night is open for group and individual bookings.
