Gaiafest, Malta’s annual appointment with holistic living is back. The festival that commemorates world environment and celebrate the 10th anniversary of The Gaia Foundation’s hands on conservation projects, will once again be held at the ‘Elysium Visitor Centre’ in Ghajn Tuffieha from Thursday to Sunday.

Conceived as a fun filled and educational family outing, Gaiafest offers talks and workshops on a plethora of holistic themes including the environment, healthy cooking, art, psychotherapy, yoga, homeopathy, fair trade, green parenting, marine conservation, global warming and more. There will also be stalls selling a selection of natural beauty, body and health products, crystals, aromatherapy, organic foodstuffs, Maltese traditional preserves, gluten-free food and cakes, tribal and ethnic furniture, massage and ayurveda services.

Entertainment includes demonstrations of martial arts, dance, a brass band as well as a high octane line up of alternative and established live bands and musicians including the Deborah Jazz Band, Eurovision’s Charlene and Natasha, Indigo, The Renzo Spiteri Latin Jazz Quintet, Norm Rejection, NV, Dario, Happy Hour, Playground, The Areola Treat, Paul and Jes and Gianni and Friends plus a Saturday DJ guest appearance by Mantra.
