The Malta Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce is introducing a new course entitled Embroidery on paper. The society said that this art has been around since Victorian times, when it enjoyed great popularity. Quick and relatively simple, embroidering on paper is a great way to relax, to embellish the home, to decorate for Christmas and to make personalised gifts. The course will start in July, mornings only, running over nine lessons, each of three hours, once a week. The fee is Lm16.
