Malta’s Contingent numbers 111 persons

Malta’s contingent at the Monaco Games, totals 111 persons, according to an official statement from the Organising Committee.

The statement indicates that the official number of athletes and officials for these Games in Monaco has reached a grand total of 1,278 persons.

Malta’s group is not the smallest. It is the same in number as that of Andorra while the smallest is that of Liechtenstein who have brought over a contingent of 69 persons.

The Maltese group consists of 57 athletes, 17 officials and the rest of the officials from the Maltese Olympic Committee, the sponsors’ representatives and members of the press.

The other countries’ contingents are as follows:

Cyprus – 235 persons; Iceland – 192; Luxembourg – 236; Monaco – 171 and San Marino – 153.
