Alternative Beauty Ltd, one of the sponsors of the Euro-Melanoma Campaign, presented a cash donation to the Maltese Association of Dermatology and Venereology at the Health Promotion Department in support of the initiative targeted to raise awareness about the risks of skin cancer and about the need for its prevention.

Dr Mario Spiteri, Health Promotion Department director, and Dr Lawrence Scerri, Head of the Department of Dermatology at Sir Paul Boffa Hospital, thanked Jayne Zammit, the director of Alternative Beauty Ltd and sole distributor of St Tropez safe sun tanning systems, during the presentation which was held recently.

Earlier in May, Ms Zammit organised two fundraising events, at the Embassy Shopping Complex in Valletta and Bay Street St Julian’s, under the theme Tanathon in support of Euro-Melanoma Day.
