Today Malta celebrates one of its national holidays. 7 June 1919 was a remarkable day in Maltese history and today is in remembrance of all those who fought and died so that we could have a better future in Malta.
It is interesting to know that the gems associated with the month of June are the pearl, alexandrite and moonstone. This week’s article, The month of June gives us more information about this colourful month and points out important dates and special events in Malta and abroad.
Father’s Day this year will be celebrated on 17 June. Watch out for next week’s Crackers where we have prepared for you a simple gift that, besides being very original, is very easy to follow. I am sure Daddy will be happier if you give him something prepared by you.
Enjoy your holiday today and see you next Thursday
