EchoFest is being held at Independence Garden in Sliema on Saturday and Sunday, bringing to a close a programme of activities marking Environment Week. Activities start at 5pm.

The Rural Affairs and the Environment Ministry aims to create environmental awareness and has invited NGOs to take part. There will be information stands at the garden, showing environmental initiatives which are currently being held. There will also be entertainment and on Sunday at 8.30pm the group Tribali will give a concert.
