A man was yesterday charged with trafficking ecstasy and being in possession of 20 ecstasy pills during a boat party nearly four years ago.
Marco Camilleri, 23, from Zabbar, pleaded not guilty to trafficking in ecstasy on and before 23 August 2003.
Before Magistrate Lawrence Quintano, he also pleaded not guilty to possessing ecstasy pills which were found in circumstances denoting they were not for his personal use.
Police Superintendent Neil Harrison prosecuted while Dr Franco Debono and Dr Marion Camilleri appeared for the accused.
