Shooting: Maltese Trap Shooters doing well in ISSF World Cup

Maltese trap shooters were among the 500 shooters from 82 countries taking part in the 3rd ISSF World Cup 2007 in Lonato Italy yesterday.

This was a record of participants in such an event. Lonato World Cup attracts so many shooters due to its fantastic ranges and its organisation.

Yesterday was the first day for the Trap event where each shooter had to shoot for three rounds of 25 clays Trap.

Jeff Tonna managed 24/25/23=72; Horace Micallef managed 25/20/25=70; Nicky Carabott managed 21/21/23=65; Jason John Aquilina managed 22/22/19=63

Today,they will shoot another 2 rounds of 25 each.

William Chetcuti will be shooting in the Double Trap event on Monday on 150 clays.
