Work will begin on the new Home for the Elderly in Mellieha in the coming days, as well as work to clear the Smart City site, the Lm50 million upgrading of MCAST and ongoing work at the Verdala School construction.

Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi, who was addressing a meeting for PN councillors held at Mellieha, said that these works, along with last year’s Budget and the government’s economic plans, which have now been praised and rewarded by the EU, show the government’s determination to give the best of everything to Malta.
