Following the canonisation of Dun Ġorġ Preca, Archbishop Paul Cremona OP, together with his private secretary Mgr Mario Camilleri and 11 priests who provide pastoral services to the Maltese community in the UK, concelebrated a thanksgiving Mass at Westminster Cathedral in London.
The Mass was attended by about 1,500 people forming part of the Maltese community living in the UK and the leaders of the community met Archbishop Cremona in the cathedral’s hall when the Mass ended.
While in London, Archbishop Cremona also visited Maltese people who are staying with the Franciscan nuns while they receive treatment in London.
The archbishop visited London following an invitation he received from the Maltese High Commissioner in the UK, Michael Refalo.
