The Malta Table Football Sports Association organised the fifth and final circuit for the Under 15 and Under 19 at Ta’ Qali.
Three players took part in the Under 19 competition where Mauro Camilleri triumphed by winning comfortably against Nicholas Schembri (9-2) and then beating Timothy Spiteri (2-1) in what proved to be a grand finale.
Playing his last year in the Under 19 category due to the age limit, Mauro was once again declared champion in this category for this season.
In the Under 15, Hamrun Table Football’s most talented player Angelo Borg won this competition by surprisingly thrashing club mate Brandon Farrugia 5-1 in the final.
The competition was contested by nine players who played in three groups.
Angelo won the group C after beating Dennis Dalli (5-0) and Matthew Carbonaro (4-0) but unfortunately his group was to play in the barrage to advance further in the competition.
