Melita Cable plc announced earlier this week that it had acquired the TV broadcast rights of all the Italian Serie A. After an absence of two years the cable company has acquired the rights to broadcast the Italian Serie A on an exclusive basis.

“Last month we announced that the home games of the top teams of the Italian Serie A would be available on an exclusive basis on Melita Sports,” commented Franco de Gabriele – Sales and Marketing Manager. “Today we are pleased to announce that all of the Italian Serie A can be enjoyed by thousands of Italian football fans, exclusively on Melita Digital,” he said.

The Italian Serie A, kicks off the new season in August 2007. More announcements on Melita Sports are planned later on in the month.
