Cuore Rossonero Milan Club Malta, established some five years ago, recently organised a chartered flight, exclusively for its members, to go to Athens to watch the UEFA Champions League Final between Milan and Liverpool.
Through its contacts, the club managed to obtain 250 tickets for the big match played on Wednesday 23 May. So much so that the requests of its members and their friends, who wanted to do the trip were accommodated. Although many of the club members were in Athens for the final, its premises, now located at the ex-Peridot Hall in Zebbug, was jam packed with local supporters on the night.
Cuore Rossonero was officially enrolled in the ‘Associazione Italiana Milan Clubs’ in 2003. The number of regular members within Cuore Rossonero has grown rapidly and now boasts over 500 members.
The Committee of Cuore Rossonero, spearheaded by its president Ervin Farrugia, has reminded its members and all other Milan supporters that they may renew their membership or enroll by phoning on 79032276 or 79595294.
Members will be given preference for Milan’s home and away match tickets plus other benefits including reduced pricing on Milan merchandise. In the meantime, upgrading of the premises is already under way and many events are planned for the near future including tours to Milan’s best matches.
