GO and the Technology, Electronics and Communication Section of the General Workers’ Union, signed a collective agreement covering clerical and industrial employees of Maltacom plc.

This collective agreement – which was signed by GO’s chairman, chief executive officer, other top managerial officials, the union’s section secretary, president and representatives – covers the period from 1 January 2007, up to 31 December 2009.

The collective agreement sets out a number of new benefits for GO (Maltacom plc) employees and includes provisions for various new initiatives that will be undertaken by the company to continue to increase operational efficiencies and establish new work practices that will ensure a strong presence in the local highly-competitive telecommunications arena.
