Robert Farrugia Elected new president of Msida SJ

Robert Farrugia is the new President of Msida Saint Joseph FC. Farrugia, who was vice-president last year, will succeed Antoine Portelli who didn’t submit his nomination for the committee this year.

In the committee headed by Farrugia there are Charles Debono as vice-president, the Abela-Wadge brothers Keith and Alan who are going to hold the positions of general secetary and PRO respectively, Martin Micallef as council member, Elton Agius, Malcom Dimech, Stephen Lovegrove, Ian Micallef, Kenneth Portelli, Jean Paul Bajada, Neil Zammit, Noel Mallia and Alfred Mallia will also form part of the 14-men committee of Msida Saint Joseph FC.

In his first comments after being confirmed as president, Robert Farrugia he is full of optimism that the club will go through another successful season in the Premier Divison.

Msida Saint Joseph FC thanked former president Antoine Portelli; who was unaimiously confirmed as Honorary President, former acting-president and vice president Edward Calleja and former financial director Robert Ancilleri for the service they offered to the club in the past years.
