This month’s interesting contribution by Heritage Malta is about the Turkish arms and armour found in the Palace Armoury, Valletta. Did you know that the holy words engraved on the Turk’s armoury were there for a purpose? They served to decorate and also to protect the wearer in battle. Read more about their weapons in our article The Sultan’s Soldiers. And if you want to win a book courtesy of Agenda Bookshop all you have to do is complete the crossword based on the text and forward to the usual address.
Another children’s film for this month is Shrek The Third. The film will be showing from 29 June. What happens when Shrek marries Fiona? And what is Fiona’s cousin Artie up to?
Who are the Cajuns and the Bedouins? Read more about the different types of people found around the world in our article Who are These People?
Good luck for your exams and see you next Thursday
