‘Bla Agenda’ From the Vatican

Malta Independent Thursday, 21 June 2007, 00:00 Last update: about 13 years ago

The canonisation of Saint George Preca has been discussed at length, and his life has been scrutinised in great detail, but Bla Agenda will be taking a fresh look at this new saint, as it will be drawing parallels between the holy Maltese priest and the beatified Pope John XXIII.

Shot entirely in the Vatican City in Rome, and at Sotto il Monte in the Bergamo area, Bla Agenda will provide another opportunity to witness the once in a lifetime occasion of the canonisation of Fr George Preca, as he became the first Maltese person to be declared a saint.

Bla Agenda will also be featuring exclusive interviews with Archbishop of Malta Mgr Paul Cremona OP, Fr Charles Tabone and Archbishop Mgr Loris Capovilla, who was

the private secretary of Pope John XXIII and is now 92 years old.

Bla Agenda is produced and directed by Norman Hamilton, filming was the work of Pierre Cachia and Hermann Bonaci, and AVID editing was carried out by Pierre Cachia.
