The Malta Transport Authority said that due to works being carried out on the east side of Manwel Dimech Bridge, the west side (carriageway from Kappara in the direction of Paceville) is being closed to vehicular traffic between 2am tomorrow and noon of Sunday.

To this end, vehicular traffic from Swieqi, Ibrag and St Paul’s Bay will be diverted to Triq Sant’ Andrija, Triq San Gorg and Spinola.

Vehicular traffic from Valletta will be diverted to Triq il-Baltiku,Triq Mikielang Borg (the road beneath the bridge is being temporarily opened to vehicular and pedestrian traffic) and Spinola.
