On Saturday 16th June 2007 the training activities for the season 2006-07 for the U7/9, U11, U13 and U15 categories of the Hibernians Basketball Nursery came to an end after more than 9 months.

It was a successful season and the attendance increased from previous seasons in all categories. The Hibernians Basketball Nursery participated in all MBA Mini-Basketball tournaments, where the level of play was high from all teams.

On the last Saturday of training, the morning session was for parents to participate in basketball games together with their children. In the evening a Pasta-Night was organised and certificates given to all children who participated in the training programme during the season. Also the second issue of the Magazine published by the Nursery was launched in this activity.

During the Summer period, due to the various requests by the parents themselves, the Hibernians Basketball Nursery will be organising 10 sessions of training during the months of July and August. The first session will be carried out at the Corradino Sports Complex on the 10th July 2007 at 6pm. Anyone interested shall contact Tony Cassar on 79994729 for more details.
