The 55th edition of the Malta Year Book was launched during a special activity that was held at the American ambassador’s residence in Attard. The Malta Year Book is published by the De La Salle Brothers Publications through its editorial board composed of chairman Brother Martin Borg fsc, Dr Charles Briffa, Louis Borg and Anthony Perry. Mr Stanley J. Clews and Noel Borg are the editors of the publication.

In the Malta Year Book, one can find all the necessary information of the major events which happened in Malta in 2006, and information on the events that will be organised this year. Apart from this, one can also read information on the different Maltese local associations, ministries and government departments. American Ambassador Molly Bordonaro who wrote the foreword to the book, commented that she was honoured to receive the editorial board of such a prestigious publication. She maintained that she finds the book to be an essential reference in her office.

Bro Martin thanked Ms Bordonaro for her constant support to the Maltese society, and for accepting the editorial board and editors in her offices in Attard. He also gave information on the research that is carried out meticulously by the editor in order to publish this book. The Malta Year Book 2007 is out for sale in local bookshops.
