ADT CEO Resigns

The chairman and board of the Malta Transport Authority have accepted the resignation of Gianfranco Selvaggi as chief executive officer of the Malta Transport Authority, an ADT statement said yesterday.

Mr Selvaggi leaves his position a few months before his term is due to expire in order to pursue an advancement in his career, the ADT said.

The Transport Authority board thanked Mr Selvaggi for his contribution and

dedication to the Authority over the last two-and-a-half years.

Mr Selvaggi said that he felt it was a good time for him to move on and think of his career, seeking fresh and interesting challenges.

He expressed his thanks to all his hardworking

colleagues for their cooperation during his tenure and said that he was certain that the improvements that had been achieved during this time, and the projects that were planned, would help the authority continue its progress.
