Young children and their families packed HSBC’s Fgura branch for the second Karusinu Day. Amid the bustle of fun and games, artists were kept busy transforming balloons into different shapes and children had their faces colourfully painted. HSBC staff in casual wear mingled with the children and handed out goodie bags.

The Bank’s kids account mascot Karusinu made frequent appearances throughout the morning and photographs were taken by The Fotografer. Other activities included a magician’s show as well as a puppet show, and children also tried their hand at the Playstation provided by Forestals.

HSBC head of marketing Brian Tortell said: “We have a rolling programme of “Karusinu days” across all our branches. We aim to make it fun for kids to have a bank account and to learn to start saving money.”

Customers who opened a Karus account on the day were given a Karus moneybox and, in some instances, an extra Karusinu soft toy. Clients were also given a coupon entitling them to a rebate on the HSBC’s Life Children’s Plan.
