Winter Moods have been confirmed as the only
supporting act for Bryan Adams’ concert in Malta tomorrow. This will be the band’s first public
performance following its successful concert held at the Valletta Waterfront at the end of April, which was attended by 3,000 people.
Winter Moods will be on stage at 7.30pm. The
concert at Luxol is expected to attract one of the largest audiences to attend such an event to date.
“Tickets for the concert are selling fast, and we are very pleased with the feedback we are receiving daily,” said Nigel Camilleri, director at NNG Promotions. “Bryan Adams’ string of hits span over 25 years and everyone is familiar with songs such as Summer of 69, (Everything I Do) I Do It For You, Please Forgive Me, and many more. Preparations are now well under way and we look forward to hosting one our largest audiences yet.”
This year has so far proved to be a very good one for Malta’s top local band. Winter Moods started off 2007 with the launch of Marigold, a hit single that topped all the charts and broke all previous records. The video for Marigold, filmed at the Manoel Theatre, received outstanding feedback and can now be seen on Melita Cable’s Promotion channel as well as other local channels. Winter Moods’ CD album Ordinary Men has been at the top of the sales charts since its release in November last year, and the band’s performance at the Valletta Waterfront earlier this year was a great success.
“We are delighted to have been chosen to support Bryan Adams. He is an outstanding international artist we have been following for a number of years. It is an honour to share the stage with him,” said Winter Moods frontman Ivan Grech.
