Open-air market (monti) traders will start setting up their stalls in the permanent location, as agreed upon between the Unjoni Haddiema Maghqudin (UHM) and the government, in Merchants Street and Old Theatre Street on Saturday.

Yesterday, the Investment, Industry and Information Technology Ministry informed the UHM – who are representing the monti hawkers – that, following the agreement reached on 18 May, the hawkers can set up their stalls in the permanent location outside the Valletta Historic Market.
