Tony Drago continued with his recent good showings when he beat Joe Swail in the Shangai Masters qualifying rounds being held in Prestatyn, Wales.

Drago beat Joe Swail 5-4 in the best out of nine frames match from the third round of the qualifying rounds.

In the previous rounds Malta’s Tony Drago beat Tom Ford 5-4, and in the previous round, the first one he beat Andrew Norman 5-2.

Tony Drago’s next opponent will be Ryan Day.

The final phase of the Shangai Masters will start on 6 August

Earlier this month the Maltese professional player won pool’s Parma International 9-Ball Open.
