Embassy Shopper wins bedroom

Malta Independent Sunday, 1 July 2007, 00:00 Last update: about 20 years ago

For the past seven years the Embassy honoured its shoppers with great prizes with the philosophy that this will enhance loyalty, increase shopper satisfaction and add to the retail experience. It has now become somewhat of a tradition for Embassy patrons to look for the competition box on one of the five shopping floors in the complex.

During the months of March, April and May shoppers were given the possibility of winning a bedroom from Carmelo Delia & Sons worth Lm1,500. Two finalists were announced every Saturday during the programme Showtime, each finalist winning an Embassy Complex voucher worth Lm5 that could be spent anywhere within the complex. The grand draw took place during Showtime on 2 June when Phyllis Camilleri emerged as the lucky winner.

With the introduction of the CVA scheme for Valletta last month and the abolishment of the Valletta license for entering vehicles, shopping in Valletta has never been easier. With the option of free parking, the Park & Ride service or a reasonable charge (up to 30 minutes – free; following the first hour 35c; additional 30 minutes – 35c, maximum daily charge – Lm 2.80) for parking spaces, either way it is hassle free.

Those wishing to watch a movie at the Embassy Cinemas or choose alternative entertainment in the capital can park in the city centre absolutely free on weekdays after 6pm, Saturdays after 1pm and all day on Sundays and public holidays.

More information on the Embassy can be obtained from www.embassycomplex.com.mt.
