In accordance to the announcement made in November 2005, the revision of fuel prices is being carried out every month and is calculated on the price that Enemalta would have paid for the last consignments that were imported, the Department of Information said yesterday.
As from today, the price of unleaded petrol increased by 0c7 EUR0.017 to 46c3 (EUR1.079) per litre. The Price of Lead Replacement Petrol increased by 0c7 (EUR 0.017) to 49c3 (EUR 1.149) per litre. The price of diesel increased by 2c6 (EUR0.06) to 41c9 (EUR0.976) per litre while the price of Kerosene increased by 1c8 (EUR0.042) to 41c7 (EUR0.972) per litre. The price of Light Heating Oil increased by 1c5 (EUR0.035) to 25c6 (EUR0.596) per litre, the price of Thin Fuel Oil 200 deg. increased by Lm9.00 (EUR 20.97) to Lm149 (EUR 347.17) per tonne. The price of Thin Fuel Oil 450 deg increased by Lm11.00 (EUR24.47) to Lm145 (EUR337.85) per tonne while the price of Thin Fuel Oil 950deg. increased by Lm13.50 (EUR31.455) to Lm140 (EUR326.20) per tonne.
Regarding the price of petrol, this includes a reduction of 0c125 excluding VAT, which is the reduction of the transitory SISA on the fuel surcharge on electricity.
