The Malta Transport Authority has notified that Qawra coast road will be closed to vehicular traffic from the corner with Triq il-Klamari up to the corner with Triq Lascaris between noon on Thursday, 5 July and noon on Monday, 9 July.

To this end, public transport and vehicular traffic from Qawra towards Bay Square will be diverted to Triq l-Arzell, Triq it-Tamar, Triq il-Maskli, Triq il-Fliegu and Triq il-Merluzz. Public transport from the bus terminus in Triq it-Turisti in the direction of Valletta will not be affected.

Vehicular traffic from Dawret il-Gzejjer towards Qawra will be diverted to Triq il-Klamari, Triq Ghawdex and Triq Dolmen.

On-street parking will not be permitted on either side of Qawra coast road from its corner with Triq il-Klamari up to its corner with Triq Lascaris between noon on Thursday, 5 July and noon on Monday, 9 July.

On-street parking will also not be permitted along one side of Triq Arzell between noon on Friday, 6 July and 1pm on Monday, 9 July.

On-street parking will not be permitted along one side of Triq it-Tamar from its corner with Triq Arzell and its corner with Triq il-Maskli between noon on Friday, 6 July and 1pm on Monday, 9 July.

On-street parking will not be permitted along one side of Triq il-Maskli from its corner with Triq it-Tamar up to its corner with Triq it-Turisti from noon on Friday, 6 July up to 1pm on Monday, 9 July.

On-street parking will not be permitted along Triq Dolmen from noon on Friday, 6 July up to 1pm on Monday, 9 July.

The first three parking bays along Triq it-Turisti at its corner with Triq il-Merlutzz will be removed from noon on Friday, 6 July up to 1pm nf Monday, 9 July.
