Preparatory meetings for prospective Maltese university students will be held at 9.30am and 6pm in the Temi Zammit Hall, University of Malta on Wednesday, 18 July. Full details may be accessed at http://home.um.edu.mt/registrar/admission/prep-meetings.pdf.

Staff from the Students’ Advisory Services will be at the University Gozo Centre on Friday, 13 July from 9am onwards to give advice and information about courses commencing in October.

An information booklet and application forms are available from the Admissions and Records Office or the Students’ Advisory Services at the University as from Monday, 16 July and at the Preparatory Meetings. Orientation sessions for international students will be held at the end of September.

Applications for admission to all University of Malta certificate, diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses commencing in October 2007 will be received between 19 and 23 July, 8.30am-12.30pm, at the M.A. Vassalli Lecture Centre (Gateway Building) and at the University Gozo Centre. Together with their application, candidates are required to submit two photocopies of educational certificates, including copies of the Matriculation Certificate, two passport-size photographs, a photocopy of their ID card (both sides) and National Insurance number and original bank receipt/deposit slip for application fee.

Late applications (except for courses where the number of students is limited) may be submitted up to Friday, 31 August against an additional late application fee of Lm15 (EUR34.94) and thereafter at the discretion of the Faculty against an additional late application fee of Lm50 (EUR116.47). Any requests for amendments (change or transfer of course) to the original application after 23 July and up to 31 August is subject to a fee of Lm15 (EUR34.94). Requests for amendments (change or transfer of course) after 1 September will only be accepted at the discretion of the Faculty concerned against a late application fee of Lm20 (EUR46.59). Office hours are between 8.30am and 12pm.
