The Malta Volleyball Association (MVA) has organised a very colourful San Michel Fruit Waves Mini Volley Festival which concluded a successful year of Mini Volley Festivals targeted at the enthusiastic young volleyball players.

With over 150 participants from local clubs, the MVA Volleyball School and the Girls on the Move Programme (both organised in collaboration with the Kunsill Malta ghall-Isport), the Cottonera Sport Complex was buzzing with activity with over 18 Mini Volley games being played at the same time for over three hours.

At the end of the event, each young participant was awarded a Certificate of Participation by the President of the MVA, whose concluding remarks encouraged all present to continue with their enthusiasm in playing volleyball and thanked the energetic coaching staff for their dedication and commitment towards the promotion of the Mini Volley game.

In view of the success of the Winter Mini Volley programmes, during the summer months, the MVA will be organising a number of activities aimed at children between the ages of 9 and 16 years.

Parents, guardians and youth leaders are encouraged to contact the MVA on [email protected] or via SMS on 79865539 (79VOLLEY) for more information on these Summer events.

The MVA thanked Farsons for their support of this successful end of season Mini Volley manifestation.
