Malta Independent Friday, 6 July 2007, 00:00 Last update: about 20 years ago

Members of the European Parliament in Malta for the EPP-ED study days yesterday visited the Malta College of the Arts, Science and Technology, one of the projects that were co-financed by the European Union.

They were welcomed by Education Minister Louis Galea, the president of the Board of Governors Paul Attard and College Principal Frank Edwards

It was explained to the MEPs how the government intends to invest Lm50 million (EUR116 million) for a new campus that will increase space to allow more students to attend courses at the college, and how money derived from the EU has helped improve the facilities at the complex over the past years.
