Sedqa will be supporting the European Judo Championships 2007, which will be held between today and Sunday at the Cottonera Sports Complex.
During this event, the Sedqa Primary Prevention Team will be present with an information stand and members of staff present to talk to those present.
The European Championships for the Under 17 Category is one of the largest Judo Events in Europe.
Also being the championships where the formation of the young athletes to become an international competitors starts, these are one of the most important championships in Europe.
Sports events and leisure alternatives without the use of substances are promoted by Sedqa. The participation of Sedqa Primary Prevention Team during such events aims to promote further sports as healthy leisure for all the family.
Sedqa’s participation in this event comes as part of its summer outreach project within the community.
Sedqa is currently holding a weekly outreach at different localities, while also being present at a number of other events.
These events are meant to reach the general public within its own community, thus the choice of the village pjazza on Sunday mornings and other central locations.
