Last Saturday, 21-year-old Stephanie Zammit from Zejtun was crowned Miss World Malta by Babyliss Paris 2007.

This was the eleventh Miss World Malta contest, organised by Sue Rossi and Claudia Calleja from Modelle International.

It is the only contest that chooses a Maltese representative to participate in the Miss World international beauty pageant.

Miss World will be held on 30 November in Sanya, China, where Stephanie will be representing Malta in competition with girls from 112 other countries, watched by 2.5 billion viewers.
